Jody:
Jody Weis began scrapbooking when she became a stay-at-home Mom. Unfortunately for her, that meant she was already six years behind in her scrapbooking! She, like most croppers, has been trying to catch up ever since. After working long hours and surviving breast cancer, she decided it was time to change her priorities and focus on her family. She has found that some of the best scrapbooking ideas come from sitting around a table with her friends, playing with different layouts, and hearing her friends’ thoughts. Some of the greatest times Jody has had with her friends have been while they are scrapping together. There sure have been a lot of laughs to go along with all of those layouts! Jody is happily married to Eric, with two young sons, Justin & Ryan, and a black lab, Bear. In addition to scrapbooking, Jody enjoys laughing out loud, running and fitness, outdoor activities, traveling (Disney is the best!), and spending time with her family.
Lisa:
Lisa’s love for scrapbooking set in when her good friend, Jody, invited her to join a group of friends for a scrapbooking weekend. Since then, Lisa has found that her most productive and creative cropping experiences have occurred on weekend getaways where the focus is on fun and scrapbooking. With a professional background in the restaurant industry, Lisa is very much looking forward to hosting scrapbooking weekends for her fellow croppers. She is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a degree in teaching. When she’s not at football or baseball games, or gymnastics meets, Lisa serves as a board member and volunteer for the Kendall County Food Pantry in Yorkville. Lisa is a stay-at-home mom with her very supportive husband, Keith, and two wonderful sons, Matthew and Chad. While scrapbooking is a passion, Lisa naturally enjoys being a part of the memories as they’re being created whether they are family vacations, children’s sporting events, school activities or fun in the backyard.
